Ecommerce and Leadpages (2026): Where It Fits Next to Your Store

Leadpages is not a store builder, but it can sell a few products directly and send ad traffic to focused product pages that hand off to Shopify. Here is where it fits.

Updated November 7, 2026

Ecommerce and Leadpages work together best when Leadpages handles the pages that win the sale and a store platform handles everything after it. Leadpages can sell a few products directly with an on-page checkout, build product landing pages for ad traffic, run launch and waitlist pages and connect to Shopify so buyers land in your existing checkout. It is not a store builder, so this guide explains where it adds value for Shopify sellers, drop shippers and Amazon sellers, and where it does not.

What Leadpages Adds to an Online Store

Leadpages' ecommerce solutions page makes the case that store pages were not designed for paid traffic: a product page carries navigation, related products and other distractions, while a landing page focuses on one offer. It positions Leadpages as a tool that sits alongside your store, with Shopify or WooCommerce still handling inventory and fulfillment.

The Leadpages Shopify Integration

Shopify is listed in the Leadpages integrations directory under ecommerce. Leadpages says the connection lets you display Shopify product details and pricing on a page, send visitors straight to checkout, apply Shopify discount codes and promotions, and track conversions from landing page to purchase, all without editing your theme or Liquid code. During setup you pick which products to promote.

That makes the typical setup simple: build a landing page for one product or bundle, connect it to the matching Shopify product and send your ad traffic there instead of to the store. The order then flows into Shopify as usual. Leadpages does not mention inventory sync, so keep stock levels managed in Shopify and avoid promoting products that may sell out mid-campaign.

Selling a Few Products Without a Store

If you sell one product, a small bundle or a subscription box, Leadpages checkouts may be all you need. Visitors can buy, book a service or subscribe to a plan without leaving the page, with Stripe, PayPal, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or a connected Shopify store as the payment route. Leadpages tracks revenue, purchases, average order value and revenue per visitor, and purchases can serve as the goal for A/B tests.

Two limits are worth knowing. Checkout requires a paid plan with ecommerce enabled, and the help center does not describe shipping rates, tax calculation or coupon handling for the native checkout, so plan how you will handle those before choosing this route. Leadpages' ecommerce page points to the Grow plan ($99 a month) as its starting point for these features; check the pricing guide for what each plan includes.

Drop Shipping and the End of Oberlo

Some older guides pair Leadpages with Oberlo, a Shopify app for importing supplier products. That pairing no longer applies: the Oberlo app was removed from the Shopify App Store in 2022 and Shopify pointed its users to DSers as a replacement. The oberlo.com site now publishes free business tools and guides linked to Shopify.

For a drop shipping business today, the store and supplier app handle products and orders, and Leadpages fits in front as the ad landing page: a strong product headline, clear photos, delivery times you can honestly promise, return terms and a single Buy button that hands off to the store checkout. Because drop shipped products often have longer delivery windows, state them clearly on the page to cut refund requests.

Leadpages for Amazon Sellers

Leadpages has no Amazon integration, but sellers use outside pages in a few legitimate ways: a pre-launch page that collects emails for launch day, a page that explains a product in more depth than a listing allows, or an email sign-up for new releases. The Buy button then links to the Amazon listing.

To measure that traffic, Amazon offers Amazon Attribution, a free tool for professional sellers enrolled in Brand Registry, vendors, KDP authors and agencies. It reports clicks, detail page views, add-to-carts and purchases from non-Amazon channels such as search, social, display and email, using a 14-day attribution window. Review Amazon's current seller policies on external traffic and promotions before running offers, since those rules are set by Amazon, not by your page builder.

Setting Up a Product Landing Page

  1. Pick one product or bundle with steady stock and a clear reason to buy now.
  2. Start from an Ecommerce or Checkout template and cut anything that does not help that single product: navigation, extra links and unrelated sections.
  3. Write for the ad that sends the traffic. Repeat the ad's promise in the headline so visitors know they are in the right place.
  4. Connect the buy path. Link the product through the Shopify integration, or set up a Leadpages checkout if you sell without a store.
  5. Add proof you can stand behind, such as real product photos, size or spec details, delivery times and the return policy.
  6. Test on a phone, place a test order and confirm it appears in your store or payment dashboard before switching the ads on.

Pages Ecommerce Brands Build in Leadpages

  • Single-product landing pages for Meta, TikTok and Google ads; see the Facebook ad landing pages and PPC landing pages guides for matching pages to campaigns.
  • Launch and pre-launch pages with countdown alert bars and waitlist forms.
  • Offer pages for a seasonal sale, using Shopify discount codes through the integration.
  • Email capture pop-ups with a first-order incentive you actually offer.
  • Thank-you pages that suggest a related product or ask for a social follow.

The template gallery has an Ecommerce tab, and its Checkout group includes Ecommerce Product and Ecommerce Fashion layouts. The templates guide explains the library, the sales page templates guide covers longer product pages, and sales funnel examples show how a product page leads into an upsell. Frequently Asked Questions

Can Leadpages replace Shopify?

No. Leadpages does not offer a product catalog, inventory, shipping or order management. Its own ecommerce page says your store's inventory and fulfillment still handle the backend. Use it for landing pages and simple checkouts alongside a store.

What does the Leadpages Shopify integration do?

According to Leadpages, it displays Shopify product details and pricing on your pages, sends visitors directly to checkout, works with Shopify discount codes and needs no theme or Liquid code. You choose which products to promote and can track landing page to purchase conversions.

Can I use Leadpages for drop shipping?

Yes, for the marketing side. A drop shipping store still needs a store platform and a supplier app; Leadpages can host product landing pages for ads and route buyers to the store's checkout. Note that the Oberlo app, once a popular Shopify drop shipping tool, was retired in 2022.

Can I send Amazon shoppers from a Leadpages page?

You can link a landing page to an Amazon listing, for example to collect emails before a launch. Amazon Attribution, a free Amazon tool for brand-registered sellers, vendors and KDP authors, measures how that outside traffic performs on Amazon. There is no Leadpages Amazon integration.

Do I need a store at all to sell with Leadpages?

Not for a handful of products. Leadpages checkouts take payments through Stripe, PayPal, Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad on the page itself. Once you need inventory, shipping rates or many products, a store platform is the better home.
