Want to use Leadpages with Weebly? The short answer: Leadpages does not list Weebly among its native integrations, so there is no app to install or account to connect. Instead, you link from your Weebly site to pages hosted by Leadpages, embed Leadpages pop-ups with Weebly's Embed Code element, or publish your Leadpages pages on a subdomain of the domain your Weebly site already uses. All three take minutes and leave your Weebly site untouched.
Three Ways to Put Leadpages on Weebly
| Method | What visitors see | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Link from Weebly | A button or menu item that opens a Leadpages page | The quickest start, any plan |
| Pop-up embed | A Leadpages opt-in pop-up on your Weebly page | Growing an email list from existing traffic |
| Subdomain | Landing pages at an address like offers.yoursite.com | Ad campaigns and a branded, consistent URL |
Where Weebly Stands Now

Weebly still runs as a website builder, but its home page now describes it as part of the Square product suite, and its support articles live on Square's help center. That matters for setup: the instructions for Weebly's Embed Code element and site settings are found there, not on a separate Weebly help site. Square also states that it cannot provide in-depth troubleshooting for problems caused by third-party embed code, so if a Leadpages script misbehaves, start with the Leadpages help center.
On the Leadpages side, the integrations page lists email tools, CRMs, ad platforms, payments and Shopify, plus Zapier, webhooks and an API. Weebly is not among them, which is why every route below works through links, code or DNS rather than a connection screen.
Method 1: Link Weebly Buttons to a Leadpages Page
This is the simplest setup and needs nothing more than a published Leadpages page:
- Publish your page in Leadpages. It gets a free address on the Leadpages domain (lpages.co) or on a domain you have connected.
- Copy the published URL.
- In the Weebly editor, add a button or text link on the page where you want the offer, and paste the URL as the link target.
- Publish the Weebly site and click the link to check that the page opens.
Leadpages advises against domain masking (showing a Leadpages page inside another address frame), because it can cause problems including lost opt-in data. Link to the page directly instead. If you are deciding what the page itself should contain, the lead capture page guide covers forms, offers and thank-you pages.
Method 2: Add a Leadpages Pop-Up to Weebly
Pop-ups (called Leadboxes in older parts of the Leadpages help center) let you collect emails from visitors already on your Weebly site. Leadpages documents a script-based method that works on any site that accepts JavaScript:
- Open your pop-up's publishing options in Leadpages and choose the Plain Text Link tab.
- Copy only the script part of the snippet, from
<script src=to</script>. - In Weebly, drag an Embed Code element onto the page, click it, choose Edit Custom HTML and paste the script. Leadpages recommends one copy of the script per page; several pop-ups can share it.
- Add the trigger. In the same or another Embed Code element, add a button, image or text link that carries the pop-up's
data-leadbox-popupattribute from the snippet. Clicking it opens the pop-up. - Publish and test. Square notes that some code does not display in the editor, so check the live site.
Weebly's Settings tab also has Header and Footer Code fields in its SEO section, which Square describes for verification and analytics code. Leadpages recommends placing its pop-up script in the page head, so the header field is an option if you want the script sitewide; the Embed Code element keeps it to one page.
If a script will not run, Leadpages offers a fallback: a direct pop-up URL in the format https://YOURDOMAIN.leadpages.co/serve-leadbox/LEADBOX-ID, which opens the form in a new tab rather than as an overlay. Link a Weebly button to it.

For ad campaigns, a branded address such as offers.yoursite.com looks more trustworthy than a shared domain. You keep the Weebly site on the root domain and point one subdomain at Leadpages:
- In Leadpages, go to Manage, then Custom Domains, and click Connect Domain.
- Enter the subdomain (for example offers.yoursite.com) and choose which landing page, site or blog it should point to.
- Let the automated setup add the DNS records, or choose manual setup. For a subdomain, Leadpages asks for a CNAME record pointing to customers.htmlpub.com plus a TXT verification record; skip the two A records, which are only for root domains.
- Add the records wherever your domain's DNS is managed: in Weebly or Square if you bought the domain there, or at your registrar if you connected an outside domain to Weebly.
- Wait for verification. Leadpages says DNS changes can take up to 48 hours and that SSL is issued free once the domain verifies.
Do not connect the root domain unless you are replacing the Weebly site: Leadpages warns that a root connection hides any website already living there. If your domain sits at GoDaddy, the Leadpages and GoDaddy guide walks through that registrar's DNS screen.
What Not to Do: Embedding Whole Pages
Leadpages' publishing overview mentions an HTML download for platforms that support JavaScript, and it is tempting to paste an entire landing page into a Weebly Embed Code element. The result usually disappoints: your Weebly header, menu and footer surround the page, widths clash with the theme, and the visitor sees two designs at once. Keep landing pages on their own address and let Weebly link to them.
Troubleshooting Leadpages on Weebly
- Pop-up does not open: confirm the script and the trigger are on the same published page, and that you copied the full script without extra characters.
- Nothing shows in the editor: publish first; embed code often only renders on the live site.
- Subdomain stays pending: check for a typo in the CNAME and for an old record on the same subdomain, then allow up to 48 hours.
- Leads not reaching your email tool: the connection lives on the Leadpages form, not in Weebly. Review the form's integration settings in Leadpages.

Does Leadpages integrate with Weebly?
Not natively. Weebly does not appear on the Leadpages integrations list. You can still link to Leadpages pages, add Leadpages pop-ups with Weebly's Embed Code element, or publish Leadpages pages on a subdomain of your Weebly domain.
How do I put a Leadpages pop-up on Weebly?
Copy the script from the pop-up's Plain Text Link publishing tab in Leadpages, paste it into an Embed Code element on the Weebly page, then add a trigger element with the pop-up's data attribute. Publish the Weebly site to test it, because some code does not display inside the editor.
Will connecting my domain to Leadpages break my Weebly site?
It can if you connect the root domain. Leadpages notes that connecting a root domain where a website already lives hides that site. Connect a subdomain such as offers.yoursite.com instead and leave the root domain on Weebly.
Is Weebly still around?
Yes. Weebly's own site says it is now part of the Square product suite, and its help articles are published on Square's help center.
Can I embed a full Leadpages landing page inside a Weebly page?
It is possible with exported HTML on platforms that run JavaScript, but the page then sits inside your Weebly theme and loses the focused layout that makes a landing page work. A subdomain or a plain link is usually cleaner.
Which Leadpages plan do I need for Weebly?
Linking and pop-up embeds work on any plan. Publishing on your own subdomain uses a custom domain, which the Leadpages pricing page includes on every paid plan, with more domains on higher plans.
